DAD RIGHTS: Workshop will help fathers

(www.DaddyBlogging.com) - When it comes to dads and family court, things can get a little dicey. That's why DaddyBlogging.com is proud to announce a special workshop to help dads understand their rights. Can't wait until July 17? No worries. Attendees at the DaddyBlogging.com UNconference will be able to get their questions answered by father's rights activist Roger Madden who joins DaddyBlogging.com as a speaker. Roger will help dads understand and fight for their rights. "I am honored," said Madden. "I graduated from UofE, and I hold a B.S. Degree in Law Enforcement. My educational knowledge are in the areas of Constitutional Rights, Law and Interpretation, Abnormal and Lifespan Psychology, Paralegal Studies, and Family Law." Roger runs Father's United for Visitation Enforcement, which was created for fathers, stepfathers, grandparents, and guardians who need to know about their equal rights, rules and laws in order to spend quality time with their children. Can't wait until July? Here's a sneak peek of the Five Biggest Mistakes Men make in Family court: 1. Failing to respond: This is the biggest mistake of all! Men commonly fail to respond to legal actions. They simply don’t do anything at all. 2. Incorrect legal advice: Every one has a family member or friend that has been through a divorce or related family court actions. 3. Signs bad settlement agreement: Men that have failed to obtain the proper information and assistance often sign a bad settlement agreement called a Stipulated Judgment or Marital Settlement Agreement. 4. Doesn’t perform agreements: The message here is simple. Don’t sign an agreement you don’t like. - 5. Becomes frustrated, gives up: It’s no secret that the Family Court continues to be biased in favor of women. Although this bias has subsided in recent years due to new laws and guidelines, it still exists. Like this article? Read more at: http://www.fathersrightsinc.com/tfbmmmifc.htm#sthash.sLE4gQna.dpuf

Daddy Bloggers unite for brand equity

(www.DaddyBlogging.com) - March is traditionally known as March Madness because of the volume of basketball that gets played and televised, but thanks to fed up dads, March 2015 may soon be known as National Dad Month because so many brands got a wake up call to do a better job of including Dads in their advertising and other campaigns.

The month started with actor, social influencer and new dad Ashton Krutcher expressing his displeasure the lack of changing stations in the men's bathroom across the country. One single post on Facebook received a quarter of a million comments and likes within an hour or two, mostly from parents who supported his views. Dads are uniting to put an end to what DaddyBlogging.com has dubbed, "Parent Wars."

Dad bloggers demand respect from brands like Amazon, Huggies and Walmart"As a new dad, I recently learned an unfortunate reality about changing diapers while out in public with a child. Almost all changing tables are in women's bathroom, which makes it nearly impossible to find a table that's accessible to dads," said Ashton. "As crazy as it sounds, many stores don't give dads the option to change their babies' diapers."

Krutcher's frustration made Daddy bloggers everywhere organize and take action. Diapering companies, changing station companies and others are revamping their marketing strategies to include less marketing to mom and more marketing to Dads.
Now Ashton has created a Change.org campaign targeting companies like Costco and Target to do a better job of including dads when thinking about diaper stations.

As of March 24, 2015, Ashton's Change.org petition had received nearly 75,000 signatures. To sign the Petition to force Walmart to create Walmart Dads or change Walmart Moms to Walmart Family, click here.

DaddyBlogging.com, the first UNconference for Dads to take place in the New York City area, received a lot of calls from sponsors who realized they want to be more inclusive for Dads. The DaddyBlogging.com UNconference takes place in Weehawken, NJ on July 17-18, 2015 seeks to give Dads a much needed back on the back, provide one-on-one time for brands to pitch their products and services to dads, and will change the way America thinks of Daddy bloggers forever.

Because the sponsorship opportunities are so coveted, DaddyBlogging.com has been forced to "weed out" sponsors using the "Dad Test" method which rates brands based on how much they have supported Dads in the past.

DAD BLOGGERS PROTEST AMAZON MOM PROGRAM An online petition was created and 10,000 people have signed on Change.org to pressure Amazon to make the switch. So fat, Amazon founder Jeff Besos has yet to respond to the protest proving a widening divide between dads and the online shopping giant.

To add insult to injury, The Washington Post, which is now owned by Besos, wrote an article about the protest.

Amazon is not the only company that is being called out for not doing enough for dads. Similac and Huggies have also found themselves on the hot seat, but one major company is getting backlash from both Dad bloggers and non-blogging moms. Walmart's Mom program is a source of growing resentment by some moms and dad bloggers largely because the company pays the blogging moms more than they pay some of the retail giant's own employees.

DAD BLOGGERS PROTEST WALMART MOM PROGRAM

"While we understand that some brands see DaddyBlogging.com as the ultimate way to "jump on the Dad movement band wagon, our attendees are quite savvy. They want brands who support them, respect them and help them make parenting easier," said a spokesperson for the conference.

Recently, a group of Walmart's employees who are moms protested the company over what they call unfair wage practices. Amid the parental cries, the Walmart Mom bloggers author bragging posts about recipes or events they attend on behalf of the brand.
